| Menasha and four other box companies from the Neenah/Menasha, Wisconsin, area jointly acquire John Strange Paper Company of Menasha, Wisconsin, which operated a linerboard mill built in 1888. |

| Menasha Acquires a One-Half Interest in a Plywood Mill |
| Menasha acquires a one-half interest in a plywood mill under construction at North Bend, Oregon. It later purchases full ownership of the mill, which becomes a subsidiary, Menasha-Coos Head Plywood Corporation. The facility makes plywood for the home construction industry. |
